# eSIM

**eSIM (Embedded SIM)** is a programmable chip embedded within a device.\
Users can activate or switch network services by remotely downloading carrier profiles — without replacing a physical SIM card.

Compared to traditional SIM cards, eSIM technology:

* Eliminates the need for logistics and physical delivery.
* Supports storing multiple carrier profiles on one device.
* Allows switching between networks at any time with ease.

Based on this technology, **RoamFi** provides cross-border data services across multiple global regions, making international connectivity more convenient and flexible.

Currently, RoamFi’s eSIM service focuses exclusively on **mobile data access**, featuring the following characteristics:

* **Data-only service:** Voice calls and phone numbers are not included.
* **No KYC required (Know Your Customer):** Users can register using only an email address, ensuring privacy protection and a low entry barrier.
* **No network restrictions:** Users can freely access global internet resources for an open and flexible browsing experience.
